A joint-stock company “Hi Tech Research and Development Bureau Ltd" (HTR&DB)
   was established for commercialization of research and technological results of the OOGIS Laboratory.
   Laboratory’s objectives regarding innovations, current state of innovation activities
   and major innovation projects are presented on the web-site of HTR&DO.

     Laboratory does basic and applied research in: 

• Information processing in complex systems;
  
• Theory and technology of Intelligent geo-information systems;
  
• Management decision support systems, based on Intelligent geo-information systems;
  
• Programming, modeling and computer systems.
  

     The above directions correspond to the SPIIRAS research area: “Theoretic fundamentals in developing information technologies for research automation, control and manufacturing intelligent systems” well as  to one of the main programs of the RAS Department of Information Technologies and Computer Systems: “System analysis, artificial intelligence, pattern recognition systems, multi-criteria decision-making”.

     New Recent Results

• Technical approach of estimation of situations and prediction of possible ways of its development under the information deficiency that emerges from the functioning process of technical-organizational systems of different levels and a scale based on methodology. This methodology is based on the integrated usage of aggregates method, immunocomputing approach and harmonization, integration and information fusion;
• Mathematical Models and Algorithmic Support Software have been developed for conducting and prediction of the environment in real-time in the monitoring systems for various purposes;
• Models of information source evaluation are developed for registration of fields of various physical natures. These models are presented as axial modules that interact with geoinformation interface.
   

    In a course of the basic research done by the OOGIS Laboratory team some advanced geo-information technologies were developed that formed a sound basis for many applied studies aimed at specialized projects development meeting the requirements of different customers.

    Lately the OOGIS Laboratory has accomplished a number of projects and studies on the State Orders by the Russian Federation Ministry of Defense (RFMD), RFMD Chief Administration of Navigation and Cartography, The Russian Federation Ministry of Extreme Situations, RAS International Scientific Center and others. Needless to say that OOGIS Laboratory has accomplished and keeps developing research and development projects being federally funded as well as those funded through the federal special purpose competitive scientific and research programs. International projects also form an essential part of the research activities.

    The research results and software complexes developed in the Laboratory were many times exposed at Russian and international exhibitions and were awarded their diplomas and medals.
